Moroccan-style home cooking from our expert chef
Local Moroccan cuisine, inspired by the best of ingredients from the medina’s bustling food market, is at the heart of the Riad Ennafoura experience. Breakfasts of homemade crepes, eggs, pastries and jams, served from 08:30 in the courtyard, are included in your room rate.
Guests are also invited to take tea and cake on the roof terrace in the afternoon, basking in the glorious Marrakesh sunshine or staying cool in the shade of the Bedouin-style canopy.
Bespoke lunches and dinners – salads, tender meat skewers, mouth-watering desserts and more – are available on request, served either in the courtyard or up on the roof terrace. Prepared by chef Loubna based on what’s available at the market, no two meals are ever quite alike. Staff are of course happy to accommodate food allergies and intolerances.
Join Loubna on her daily market visit as part of an Ennafoura cooking class, then return to the riad to learn how to recreate typical Moroccan dishes at home. Dinner is served at the end of the class, and you receive an embroidered apron as a gift.
